More California fun today.
The Miss USA pageant takes place this evening in Las Vegas -- don't give me that look, I know you're going to be "accidentally" surfing by NBC, as well.
While the contestants are already in place, there's still an issue with Miss California.
You see, Christina Silva (left) originally won the Miss California contest. But thanks to some trusty accountants, at least that's the claim, it was announced there was a "mistake" and the crown was transfered to the lovely Raquel Beezley (right).
Conveniently, Miss Silva waited until yesterday to file a 500K lawsuit against the pageant claiming "rigging and racial bias."
Now the California crown may be left to the courts. That's no fun. Instead, I think we should just handle the decision the way all contests of this nature should be decided -- Who's hotter? Cast your votes.
Rigged or not, I believe they got it right.
