Blog Photo - Chuck Pagano Inspires Colts Before, During, and After Win over DolphinsIn Sunday's win against the Miami Dolphins, the Indianapolis Colts had a new source of inspiration coming from their sidelines - head coach Chuck Pagano was able to attend his first game since receiving some dreadful news just over a month ago. The Colts' fight for the playoffs has taken the backseat to Pagano's fight against leukemia, but the team understands how much a victory still means to their head coach.

The team played inspired, wanting to reward Pagano for gathering the strength to come see his team play. Quarterback Andrew Luck put together one of the greatest rookie performances of all time, breaking the record for passing yards by a rookie. Two unheralded receivers - Donnie Avery and T.Y. Hilton - both went off for over 100 yards receiving. Finally, running back Vick Ballard closed out the game with a bruising, barbarous run, putting an end to a possible Dolphins comeback.

"His presence is felt every day in the facility," Luck said of Pagano. "But to see him in the flesh, in the locker room, to hear him speak I think gave all the guys a boost."

After watching his post game speech, it's easy to see why every player wants to leave it all on the field for Chuck Pagano:
