Clippers Sign Stephen Jackson
The Los Angeles Clippers signed 13-year veteran, Stephen Jackson, Monday afternoon due to all of their recent injuries. The 35-year-old small forward can play multiple positions and will be a valuable commodity for the Clippers depleted backcourt. With J.J. Redick out another six weeks and Matt Barnes day-to-day, Jackson is a great plug in for the Clippers.
On Sunday Jackson tweeted, "I never lost faith. The wait is over."
He also wrote on his Instagram account, “One thing about me I never panic bkuz God taught me how to enjoy the bad and good times. It's easy to b positive when u are thankful and humble. God is Great. Let's turn up LA. Promise to give my all. #clips
Jackson has not played since being waived by the San Antonio Spurs last year right before the playoffs.
However, the confident wing player has averaged 15ppg, 4apg, and 3apg throughout his career.
