However, it doesn't seem like Coach Mike D'Antoni cares.

Clearly.

After the Los Angeles Lakers lost on Sunday to the Los Angeles Clippers, the Coach said, “We're gonna get our money's worth.”

Kevin Ding of the OC Register also noted that this was said “half-joking,” but the serious part of this joke isn't funny at all.

Bryant has been having a great season, but in the last four games, he's sat for a total of four minutes, which will wear on anyone, and particularly an older body.

In typical Black Mamba fashion though, Bryant insisted he was fine with his playing time, saying that he wasn't tired.

It's probably a combination of both Bryant insisting on playing and D'Antoni needing him to play since he's terrible at rotating his bench.

The important issue right now is just getting into the playoffs, but in a few weeks, they'll need to sustain their winning, and that might be difficult with Bryant getting as little rest as he is.

With any luck, they'll be able to get a big lead against the teams in their upcoming games, and the cornerstone of the team will get some much needed rest.
