Mandatory Credit: Eric Hartline-US PRESSWIREThe Philadelphia Philles are having an terrible year, despite high expectations coming into the year.

They can't seem to buy a win for Cliff Lee, Roy Halladay is on the DL, Chase Utley just came back from injury and Ryan Howard is still on the shelf.

All those factors, along with Cole Hamels' impending free agency, have combined to force the Phillies' hand into revealing that they're actively shopping their Cy Young candidate lefty.

Hamels is currently 10-4 with a 3.08 ERA, along with 111 Ks.

If you're wondering which teams might be interested in someone like Hamels, just assume that pretty much every team would be willing to at least kick the tires.

Elite level left-handed pitchers like Hamels are always at a premium, and the Phillies should be able to get quite the haul if they pull the trigger on a deal for him.

They're still reportedly trying to come to an agreement on a contract extension with Hamels, but seem to be pretty far apart, both in terms of dollars and in length of contract.

If the Phillies trade Hamels, it will definitely signify a huge shift in the NL East, where the Phillies have been contenders for years. The division might belong to the Nationals for the next couple years, even if they DON'T deal Hamels.

Which teams do you think should pursue a trade for Cole Hamels?
