Synopsis: Stepfan Taylor’s five-yard touchdown run with 1:21 remaining looked to be enough to win the game for Stanford, but a Curt Phillips-led offense drove down the field and scored with just :13 on the clock. This secured the Badgers’ second Rose Bowl win in three years.
Phillips, who made his fourth start of the season, threw for 370 yards and three touchdowns off 47 pass attempts. Montee Ball ended his collegiate career with a 97-yard performance. Taylor had 95 yards rushing and two touchdowns for the Cardinal, while QB Kevin Hogan combined for 260 yards and two scores.
The Badger mascot revealed himself as Bret Bielema, who was calling the plays from a wireless headset within the costume. And oddly enough, all is right in the world.
Fiesta Bowl: Oregon 29, Kansas State 26
Synopsis: Following a Collin Klein touchdown with 2:07 left in the fourth quarter, Marcus Mariota connected with tight end Colt Lyerla for the game-winning score, leaving just 33 seconds on the clock and giving Oregon its second straight BCS bowl win.
Kansas State kicker Anthony Cartele misses two field goals over 50 yards, including a 56-yarder with two seconds left in the game. Mariota combined for 297 yards and two touchdowns, while Klein – a Heisman finalist – threw for 203 yards and three scores, and also added 54 yards on the ground.
During the post-game press conference, Chip Kelly asked a member of the media to pick a card out of a deck. When it came out to be a Cleveland Browns logo, he shuddered and demanded a re-do until the Philadelphia Eagles' card appeared.

With the exception of the Fiesta Bowl final, I can't see any of the BCS bowl games, including the National Championship game, being even close to the simulated scores. If Notre Dame scores 38 points I will quit watching college football. And Johnny Heisman will embarrass that mediocre OU defense.
