Nebraska is lookinBlog Photo - College Football 2012: Nebraska Wants to Play Northwestern at Wrigley Fieldg to move its 2014 matchup with Big Ten opponent Northwestern from Ryan Field (the Wildcats' home stadium) to Wrigley Field (home of the Chicago Cubs), reports Josh Walfish of The Daily Northwestern.

It would still be a home field advantage for Northwestern, as the potential change of scenery is less than 10 miles south from Ryan Field.

“There have been no discussions (with Northwestern),” said Nebraska Athletic Director Tom Osborne. “As of right now, we’re just talking about possibilities. We’ve also talked about playing Northern Illinois in Chicago (at Soldier Field).”

This wouldn't be the first time a Big Ten game was held at the legendary baseball site. In 2010, Northwestern hosted Illinois. The Fighting Illini won, 48-27, with just one end zone used due to a giant brick wall on the other side.

The owner of the Chicago Cubs, Tom Ricketts, is an Omaha native who is a Nebraska fan. My guess is that this deal gets done pretty soon.
