Predictions for Every Week 11 Top 25 Game

You know that phrase, "you learn something new every day?" Well, that stood true last Saturday as we found out a lot about some of the better college football teams in the nation.Blog Photo - College Football 2012: Predictions for Every Week 11 Top 25 Game

Alabama took one step closer to reserving a spot in the national championship for the third time in four years by knocking off LSU in Death Valley, 21-17. Not too many opposing teams come away with a win in that kind of atmosphere, but the Tide showed resiliency and why they're No. 1.

Oregon can score on command, and its 62 points off 730 yards against USC in the Coliseum proved that. With their jaw-dropping offensive explosion, the Ducks jumped Kansas State in the AP Top 25 for the No. 2 spot and likely control their own destiny for a title run.

Both Kansas State and Notre Dame won, but neither have anything to show for it. Like I just stated, the Wildcats were overtaken by Oregon and don't have a conference title game to help plead their case. The Irish shook off Pittsburgh in three overtimes, but the performance will do anything but help their chances for an appearance at Sun Life Stadium this January.

The upcoming week gives us a chance to catch our breath, but there are still plenty of notable games worthy of keeping your eye on.
