Predictions for Every Week 14 Top 25 Game

It was a rough go for me last week, finishing just 10-8 in one of the most fun-filled college football weekends of the season.Blog Photo - College Football 2012: Predictions for Every Week 14 Top 25 Game

Florida State blew a fourth quarter lead, allowing Florida to score 24 unanswered points in a 37-26 loss. I assumed that the Seminoles’ defense would be enough to overpower a shaky Jeff Driskel, but did not count for E.J. Manuel’s inevitable mistakes on the big stage.

UCLA may or may not have played opossum against Stanford last week in order to avoid playing Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship Game. Kudos to the Bruins for that one.

Clemson was held under 26 points for the first time this season, scoring 17 in a 10-point loss to South Carolina. I figured the Tigers’ offensive firepower would be enough to overcome a backup quarterback and a Marcus Lattimore-less backfield, but I was wrong.

There aren’t many games to pick from this week, but I’m determined to get back on track heading into bowl season.
