We’re almost halfway there!Blog Photo - College Football 2013: Post-spring practice Top 25

With both spring practice and the NFL draft behind us, there are only a few months separating us from the college football opening kickoff.

From now until August, there’s plenty to discuss—but for now, we can starting painting a realistic picture for the upcoming preseason Top 25.

Through the spring session we’ve gained some knowledge on which teams will be suffering from major departures, who looks to be the next “star player,” how new systems are developing, etc.

Although we still have the same favorite (Alabama, of course), there has been some shuffling across the board. Oregon moves up a few spots after an impressive debut from the offense during the Ducks’ spring game, showing us Mark Helfrich really does know what he’s doing.

Notre Dame fell even more after failing to piece together its offensive line and running back situation this spring, while Florida State jumped Oklahoma after true freshman quarterback Jameis Winston showed us why he was one of the nation’s top recruits.

Also moving up: Louisville, South Carolina, Michigan and Boise State.

Also moving down: Texas A&M, Stanford, LSU and Oregon State.

Ole Miss drops out of the Top 25 as we welcome a surprise appearance from Wisconsin.
