1. How has practice been?
2. How long does it take to pull out the cobwebs and find a rhythm out there?
“You’re a little rusty the first day -- that’s why you come out here in shells just to learn the plays. But during the offseason you’re watching film and you kind of know what you need to do. You just need to get a couple repetitions at it and you’re back.”
“Keep my offensive line moving and tell them they’re doing a good job. It’s all about confidence. I need to bust big runs and help them with blocks to get them going.”
4. Are the new guys doing a nice job so far?
5. Do you have a lot of personal goals for yourself this season?
“I definitely have a lot of personal goals, but making the MAC championship is one of them and is also one of our team goals.”
6. What are your expectations for your team for the rest of this spring?
“Just to get back at it, man. To come out here grinding. They say defense was a weak point so I stay on them and argue with them all the time, make sure they’re doing the right thing – breaking down and making tackles.”
