We’re just seven-and-a-half months away (place sad face emoji here) from the first college football snap of Blog Photo - College Football 2014: An Early Look At Next Season's Potential Heisman Candidates the 2014 season, so it’s only natural to take a quick look into the not-near-enough future.

Florida State redshirt freshman quarterback Jameis Winston won the Heisman Trophy last December, but should he the favorite to repeat? It hasn't been done since Archie Griffin did it in 1974-75, so history says no.

Here’s a list of early front-runners for the bronze next season, along with a few names we should all watch out for.
