Meet FanIQ College Football Lead Writer, Tyler Waddell
I don't consider myself a guru, nor an expert. I'm not a biased writer, although I will express my love for the Ohio State Buckeyes off the clock.
However, I love the game of football and have vastly improved my knowledge of the college level over the last two years.
For one, I personally think the college atmosphere is one like no other. You can't go find anywhere with 100,000-plus drunk, screaming fanatics other than a college football venue.
Two, it was an internship requirement: Not only do I write for FanIQ, but you can catch some of my work as a Featured Columnist for Bleacher Report. That's where I started off, along with a fantasy football site called (Fantasy Football Jungle) and a local newspaper.
I attained this current position in July through PulsePoint and FanIQ editor Dan Bohm, who is one heckuvah guy and devoted Stanford fan (owed him that shoutout after I imprudently bashed the Cardinal in my conference previews).
Anyways, I'm still learning and I will continue to grow as a writer through FanIQ, school, and reader feedback.
Yes, I do enjoy it when you guys let me know how big of an idiot I am for picking [example team] to beat [example team], and when I say [example player] will win the Heisman as he throws five interceptions the following week.
So please, let me know what's on your mind as you read my content. Whether it be on the actual article through the comment box, via e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Twitter (@Tyler_Waddell — follow me for updates and analysis), I'd love to know your thoughts or concerns.
Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a little better and let's enjoy this roller coaster college football season.
