College Football Scores: Notre Dame, Offenseless Genius Go 0-3
READ MORE:
Thoughts on the results earlier today ...

Michigan 38, Notre Dame 0
Offensive genius, huh? Return to glory, huh? Better than Ty Willingham, huh? After just 13 points in 3 games, and just its second 0-3 start in school history the Irish have even more questions to answer. Of course they play Michigan State next week so I'd better watch what I say, but this has the making of a historically poor season. One that I predicted, of course.

Is Michigan back? I'm not entirely convinced but at least they have some confidence back. Unfortunately for Ryan Cannon Mallett, it's a real actual defense coming into Ann Arbor in the Nittany Lions.

I'm sure I'll be talking more about Charlie and the Wolverines this week.

Florida 59, Tennessee 20
Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to see much of this, but wow. I think Tim Tebow can handle an offense by himself. What do you think? 299 through the air and 2 TDs, 69 on the ground and another 2. Time to start eying that LSU game in October.

Mississippi St 19, Auburn 14
Only 2% of fans predicted this upset. I thought Auburn would have a down year, but not lose-to-Miss-St-at-home down kind of year. That's bad.

Iowa St 15, Iowa 13
Hoorah Big Ten. This is getting bad. Thankfully ...

Ohio State 33, Washington 14
While I'd love to provide this as an example that the Big Ten isn't way, way down, I think the media might have jumped on the Huskies bandwagon a little too much. Ty Willingham is going to get Washington to a bowl game this year, but they're still not Top 15 caliber. Good win for the Buckeyes, must needed win for the conference.

More thoughts on all the excellent games going on right now after they're finished. I wish I could split my TV into four.

Man, the Big Ten is looking really bad this season. Iowa loses to Iowa State, who in turn had lost to Kent State and Northern Iowa. Duke ends a 22 game losing streak versus Northwestern on the road. Michigan had lost to...well, we all know that story. Minnesota has looked dreadful. Even Wisconsin escaped UNLV last week and today was tied at halftime with The Citadel.

Thank God for The Ohio State University and Penn State!

Big Ten is a disaster... I don't even know who to think is the favorite.  I don't think Penn St has proven anything yet, and Ohio State and Wisconsin have proven they are beatable.  After that theres an obvious drop-off, but I think it could be a big mess.

Is Chad Henne out a second week vs. PSU, or is he going to play?

Oh, and you forgot Kentucky, Louisville. That and Bama had the best two games of the week.
