I know it's stupid, because I don't usually get too into college football, and it really isn't a huge accomplishment in many cases, but I'm SO excited WSU finally made it to a bowl game again! Go Cougs!

Some interesting tidbits re: the Pac-12.

--The Pac-12 managed 9 bowl teams, despite a 9-game conference schedule. I think it is safe to say that it was the deepest conference in the country this year.
--In case you aren't so sure, the Pac-12 is favored in all 9 of their bowl games (how often does that happen?).
--Still, every single Pac-12 team is ranked lower in the Coaches Poll (which is what the BCS uses) than in the AP Poll. I am not going to waste my time complaining about that fact because we all know what a farce the Coaches Poll is (and the BCS, by extension)!
