Forgive me, for I don't have much to offer in terms of what happened, I couldn't bring myself to watch any baseball after the debacle at Wrigley. But I'm thrilled for the baseball fans, or at least those pretending to be, in Colorado who are riding an incredible wave of momentum into the NLCS.
The Rockies have won 17 out of 18 games. That's ridiculous. What's so impressive is that it seems everyone on the Colorado roster has contributed. Tonight it was Jeff Baker, yes Jeff Baker, driving in the game-winning run.
Battle of the NL West in the NLCS. Maybe by the time this starts on Thursday, I'll have an interest in watching baseball again because the Rockies and Diamondbacks sure have been playing great baseball of late and neither will roll over and die like the Cubs.
