Colvin still out for Oklahoma

Corner should be ready to play at Notre Dame

NORMAN, Okla. - All-Big 12 cornerback Aaron Colvin didn't play for Oklahoma against Tulsa last Saturday, but he should be ready to go when the Sooners take the field against Notre Dame Sept. 28.

Monday, Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said Colvin was not ready to play against Tulsa.
 
"He wasn't healthy enough," Stoops said. "He was close, so we chose not to and held him out."
 
Stoops and defensive coordinator Mike Stoops did not say if Colvin suffered a concussion.
 
OU is 3-0. The Sooners lost at home to Notre Dame a season ago.
