Coming Home

3/1/14 in NCAABB   |   pigskinfan   |   53 respect

Once again last night, the overall numbers were less than inspiring, but all that really matters is that I got mine.  Other than that, there's not a whole lot to open with, nor should there be.  We've got lots to get to for today, so as we bring it home on the last day of February, let's see if we can put a nice bow on the package.

THE NBA  (2-5 ATS/3-4 SU/1-6 TOTALS last night and 21-20/24-14/17-24 so far for the week)

BUTTA  (1-0 last night and 3-0 so far for the week)
Nets (-260) over BUCKS and UTAH (-300) over Colorado - That's right.  I'm "cross-pollenating" today.  The Nets play is pretty self-explanatory.  The Bucks are horrid, but the Nets are not a team that you should want to lay (-6) or more with.  As far as Utah goes, they're really tough to beat at home, but Colorado, even without they're best player for most of the conference schedule is still a squad that can put a (-7), like is hung on the Utes today, in danger.

ALL THE REST
Magic   92 Wizards (-11, O213 1/2) 121
HEAT (-14, U201) 107 76ERS 104

Pistons   99 Pacers   96
ROCKETS (-11, O216 1/2) 122 CELTICS (+7 1/2, U192 1/2)   93

Nets   98 Cavs (+8 1/2, O187 1/2) 104
BUCKS (+6, U197)   94 GRIZZLIES 101

Nuggets   92 Wolves 105
BLAZERS (-11, O212) 125 KINGS (+4, U213) 106

Pelicans 104
CLIPPERS (-12, O208 1/2) 117
NOTES -
---I'm not going to pronounce it officially yet, but we might be in one of those "adjustment" phases of the schedule.  It's hard to figure out exactly why this happens, but one of the reasons, I think, is probably that we've got bad teams that are undervalued, and they will often run up against good teams that are overvalued.  One such game tonight is Magic/HEAT.  Miami should run the Magic out of the gym, but are they going to be intense enough against an inferior opponent to do so?
---The Cavs brought me a nice win last night with a very strong performance.  They're on the b2b tonight, and so is Memphis, but this game is the Cavs 4th in 5 nights.

COLLEGE HOOPS  (1-1 ATS, SU & TOTALS last night and 40-39/49-27/34-45 so far for the week)

BUTTA  (no play last night and 3-0 so far for the week)
I have to admit it.  There are a lot of tempting tidbits out there on a today's big schedule, but it's been such a great week and month, that I don't need to be crawling out on any limbs.

NOTES -
---I haven't done the research on why, but the Purdue/IOWA game scheduled for today has been postponed.
---Those teams listed with an (*) are having their Senior Day/Night.  So far this season, teams in that situation have gone 5-5 ATS and 7-3 SU.

There we have it.  "Snowmageddon" has yet to start.  Now, it's been pushed back till tonight.  We shall see.  Have a great day.  I'll talk to you tomorrow.
