Well, it's over! The Penguins could not pull it out last night, but to me, The Penguins are the TRUE champions of hockey! I could not be prouder of my team! They never said die! And no one, and I mean no one thought they would get that far and we did .. I even heard some people say that the Penguins weren't playing the JV teams anymore .. to me that is so disrespectful .. not only to the Penguins but to the entire Eastern Conference! Plus, they said the Red Wings would sweep right though the Pens .. the Pens didn't have a shot .. well I guess we proved you all wrong!
So keep your heads up boys .. you are and will always be the TRUE champions to me!! The record books will say "The Red Wings 2008 Stanley Cup Champions" .. but The Pittsburgh Penguins are the TRUE 2008 Stanley Cup Champions ... Champions of THE HEART!!!!!!!
Way to go Pens! Thank you for an awesome year! Let's do it again next year! Love ya boys!
