According to local law enforcement, Hyppolite was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Ryan Marchant. The car allegedly collided with another driven by 74-year-old Bruce Larson outside of Durham, New Hampshire.
The report states that the “extent of Hyppolite’s injuries are unknown,” but adds that his football career is “in danger.”
Unfortunately, Lawson was announced dead at the scene, while Marchant was initially declared in serious condition at the time of the incident.
Hyppolite spent much of his junior season making the transition from tailback to fullback. He only carried the ball 19 times for 69 yards, but does a good job opening holes for the rest of the backfield as a blocker.
