Cowboys' Nick Folk Hits (Two) Game-Winning FG, Excusing Tony Romo from 6 Turnovers
The cutesy catch phrase around Buffalo has been "Billieve It." Well, this game was unBillievable.

Dallas Cowboys overcome 6 turnovers, all courtesy of Tony Romo, and still came back to beat/demoralize the Buffalo Bills 25-24. Nick Folk hit a game-winning 53-yard field goal right after he hit a game-winning 53-yard field goal (that's why he's signaling two on each hand, of course). Who gave the green flag for the new "it" play to be the Mike Shanahan timeout. Seriously, how did this happen?

Tony Romo threw 4 first half interceptions (joked afterward he thought it was 7), threw another in the second half couple with a fumble. Of those 6 turnovers, the Bills scored touchdowns directly off of two and got a FG from another. That's still not enough.

Credit Romo, who had the wherewithal to drive down for a late touchdown, miss the two-point conversation, and still connect on a few more clutch throws after a fortuitous onside kick fell their way.

Trent Edwards will be a good QB, and played well tonight, but this game goes to show you how much better the Dallas Cowboys are that they were able to make up from a 6-1 turnover margin. Very Bill-like, but unbillievable. Rock on, Nick Folk. Rock on.

Cowboys 25, Bills 24

Right on about Edwards. With the exception of that interception he threw in scoring position, he had another very solid outing. Losman better get healthy by next week or his job is gone.

I hate that coaches call timeouts right before the a kick attempts to tie or win the game. It takes so much out of the moment and it is way more dirty than it strategic.

All I have to say is holy cow that was close! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! I still cant believe all the interceptions that Romo threw tonight..what was he doing out there?? I am just glad that they pulled it off when Folk kicked the winning field goal..not once but twice! Next weeks game is gonna be a good one too! We all know who is gonna win tho! GO COWBOYS!!

What a great game! I have to admit that even though I'm not a fan of either team, I was rooting for the Bills...just cuz.

And just for the principle of things, I SO want to hate Tony Romo...and I've actually looked for reasons to do so. Not based on anything other than the fact that when the media hypes people up so much I tend to get an attitude about them.

However, after watching his close-to-tears gratitude to his team on the sidelines, I can't help but have respect and admiration for the guy. He admitted on national TV to playing like crap and gave every ounce of credit to his teammates for bailing him out...what a class act.

Yes we do. And it almost makes me feel bad for you, since you'll be heartbroken after the game.

Credit to the Cowboys D for playing a very good game, considering they only allowed 3 points in this game.  Amazing how a D can keep you in it when your offense turns it over on every play.

A saying I've heard a few times prior applies here-- "that's proof anyone can win the lottery!"-- well Cowboys fans, consider yourselves lottery winners last night....

ESPN puts the jinx on teams in games like this. They spend and hour talking about how awesome Romo is, how TO is so involved in the offense, how Dallas O is light-out amazing and not one word about the Bills. I don't know I have a superstition about things like that. It was like they were all setting Dallas up to crap-out.

In week one you had the offense bailing the defense out, this week you had the defense bailing the offense out.  Before you Pats fans get set into believing you can't lose next week remember the Colts.  It'll be fun to watch.  This week will tell you anything can happen, if it were a monday night it will happen.
