The cutesy catch phrase around Buffalo has been "Billieve It." Well, this game was unBillievable. Dallas Cowboys overcome 6 turnovers, all courtesy of Tony Romo, and still came back to beat/demoralize the Buffalo Bills 25-24. Nick Folk hit a game-winning 53-yard field goal right after he hit a game-winning 53-yard field goal (that's why he's signaling two on each hand, of course). Who gave the green flag for the new "it" play to be the Mike Shanahan timeout. Seriously, how did this happen?
Tony Romo threw 4 first half interceptions (joked afterward he thought it was 7), threw another in the second half couple with a fumble. Of those 6 turnovers, the Bills scored touchdowns directly off of two and got a FG from another. That's still not enough.
Credit Romo, who had the wherewithal to drive down for a late touchdown, miss the two-point conversation, and still connect on a few more clutch throws after a fortuitous onside kick fell their way.
Trent Edwards will be a good QB, and played well tonight, but this game goes to show you how much better the Dallas Cowboys are that they were able to make up from a 6-1 turnover margin. Very Bill-like, but unbillievable. Rock on, Nick Folk. Rock on.
