Can The Cowboys Punch Their Playoff Ticket? [Cowboys Versus Redskins Live Thread]

I'm admittedly too mad about Jim Caldwell blowing the Colts' chances at a perfect season, so I'll just get right to it.

Cowboys/Redskins. Huge rivals, if only they were both playing for something. But at least the Cowboys are. Win and they're in.

Meanwhile, the Redskins are simply killing time until Jim Zorn gets fired and possibly replaced by Mike Shanahan or an Elmo puppet. It's a real toss-up right now.

83% of you are rolling with Dallas, despite their awful December record. Although, I'd go with them too. The Redskins are a mess.

Feel free to chat the game up here, and also feel free to murder Jim Caldwell down there in the comments as well.

Yes, I am glad you understand that the Eagles will win both game if they have to play each other twice because we are going to take it back to Philly!!!  I see you are a Cowboy fan and don't live in Texas which that is not a problem because I am a Philly fan and live in Texas right up the street from the new Cowboy Stadium.

Coach keep hope alive because the Eagles are not going to let the Cowboys beat them two times no no can't see that happening at all but still continue to keep hope alive and pray very hard because that is the only way they can beat the Eagles is with prayer.  Now I hope both team play there starters so it can be a good game.

Why not? The Boys have already punched them in the eye earlier this season. We have only gotten better and more organized. Now we will punch them in the mouth and win the NFC East!

After Dallas beats Philly next week, it will give the Boys much needed momentum in the playoffs.

All I am going to say is "KEEP HOPE ALIVE", because that is not going to happen

Fans have such short memories...as in WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY.  It is a real shame that no matter how great a team is...their so called FANS will insult, slander, and jump ship if they don't win it all. I have seen this in fair-weather fans as long as I can remember.  If you don't like your team as much as you do when they win...your NOT much of a fan.  So,to all the Cowboys fans who will $$$$ their britches if again they don't win it all...please jump ship now and pull for another team;BUT,when they right that ship and do start winning, don't come back.

Yes, only give credit to the losses, forget the team who beats them. Saints are awful, Redskins are awful, Cowboys are awful because wins don't count.

I like how they gave up the ball twice on 4th and 1 with a stupid draw play. Has Garrett or ANYONE ever heard of a QB sneak? Efective majority of the time...

I know I was thinking the same thing!

Yes they have to face the Eagles and it is going to be a different game then it was in the first game when they won against the Eagles.  The Eagles are not playing and when they come to Texas they are going to bring there game.

Dont be fooled by the win against New Orleans. The Cowboys barely hung on for dear life as they collapsed in the second half against a Saints team that had been begging for a loss for weeks. Dallas is just not that good and have to go on the road against a team, fanbase and city that are .... hostile.... to say the least.

Redskins prevail and rejuvinate the Dallas December Collapse chants across the country.

A Cowboy loss would speak volumes about their victory vs. the Saints. The pressure is definitely on the Cowboys... Like, Big Time.  WA, 1st and 10.    Loss of 4
