The Cowboys have finally made a move. Jason Garrett appears to be safe for now, and perhaps Tony Romo is still safe as well.Defensive coordinator Rob Ryan, however, is hitting the bricks.
The Cowboys finished with the 19th ranked defense, which was 17th against the run and 21st against the pass, but he's not worried at all about finding a new job.
via ESPN:
"I inherited a team that was 31st in the league in defense and made them better. I (expletive) made them a hell of a lot better. I'll be out of work for like five minutes."
Ryan's brother Rex, who is the head coach of the New York Jets, might have a place for his twin, after the Jets defensive coordinator was let go and took the same position with the Bills.
Do you think Rob Ryan will end up with his brother in New York? Can one team even handle TWO Ryan brothers?

Not surprised. Jerry did threaten last week about shaking things up. With his bromance of Garrett, had to go down the chain.

I was surprised by this move. The defense hadn't become all I had hoped, but they had improved. And for them to even be mediocre this year with all the injuries that happened, I think that Ryan and the defense did an admirable job.
