Blog Photo - D'Antoni certain budget deficit would be remedied if only everyone bought into his system

The following article, despite being based loosely on non-fiction and bearing a polar resemblance to fact, is truer than you will ever know. Quotes quoted in this article are conjured out of pure inspiration, while the opinions expressed here are derived from what is both authentic and just.

Following the Lakers' modest 2-game win-streak (scientifcally proven to be the shortest streak possible) Mike D'Antoni has renewed confidence in his system, boasting that it could be the answer for more than just the Lakers' woes.

Pointing to the fact that the Lakers' offense really seemed to gel against the Thunder last night, D'Antoni feels that if everybody in the world simply bought into his system, together we could tackle issues such as the national debt, global warming, identity theft and high cholesterol.

"If we all just put our egos aside, move the ball, space the floor, and look for the open man, I think we could accomplish some really big things," professed D'Antoni, "with the Lakers, yes, but also in the Middle East and in the way of the illegal poaching of elephants for their ivory."

When asked about the relevance of an offensive system in basketball as it pertains to and some of the world's greater, more complicated issues, D'Antoni astutely pointed out that we simply have not given a chance, and until we truly buy into it we won't know for sure that ball movement isn't the cure for, well, everything.
