When I was young, I used to occasionally get dragged to Neiman Marcus to go shopping for God only knows what. Considering I hate shopping, these trips always sucked to no end. But, you know what, maybe it's time I changed my mind. That's because for reasons that are almost completely inexplicable, Neiman Marcus - which sells, you know, jewelery and clothes - is now selling the Cowboys endzone from Texas Stadium in commemoration of the stadium's final season before the 'Boys move into their new digs next year. I wouldn't exactly say Neiman Marcus is at the top of most sports fan's "list of places to hit" for cool merchandise, but whatever.
They'll also insert the 530 square yards of endzone into your backyard, which seems a little strange to me. Texas Stadium is AstroTurf, while I would assume most peoples backyards consist of grass. I guess you could use it as a giant welcome mat for your front door instead. That seems slightly more practical.
Now, what 's the cost for this ridiculous memento? Only $500,000.
Wait, but there has to be something more than just the endzone, right? Our exclusive package also includes the VIP treatment for the last regular season Cowboys game in Texas Stadium. Your crew gets pre-game photos in your zone with Jerry Jones, a luxury suite for the game, and a once-in-a-lifetime post-game tailgate party on your soon-to be new backyard (with the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders, no less).
Wait, did you say cheerleaders? Hold on, let me just get my wallet....
