Dana White was found at his usual best last week; funny, angry and notorious. In an interview last week, the UFC president relentlessly charged against soccer and soccer players, whilst calling them the “least talented athletes on the planet”.

“Can't stand soccer. It's the least talented sport on Earth. There's a reason three-year-olds can play soccer. When you're playing a game when the net is that big and the score is 3-1 (and that's a blowout) are you kidding me? You know how untalented you have to be to score three times when the net is that big?”

It seems like Mr. White did not realize that soccer is the most popular sport in the world and that he would be hacking at his own feet by abusing the sport. After all, White has a quite a few fighters from Brazil, the country where soccer is considered a religion.

Anyway, White’s comments about soccer ruffled quite a few feathers, and one disturbed man from the lot happened to be Jimmy Conrad.

The retired American soccer player, who used to play in the Major League Soccer, responded to White with a challenge. After a taunting video, Conrad challenged White to a soccer game. Well, Conrad might be retired but he still has some fun in him.

Conrad, who used to play as defender, doesn’t possess the skills Cristiano Ronaldo can boast about but he certainly has more experience of the field than White. The whole idea originated on Twitter, where Conrad first said:

“Agreed. I need Dana’s people to talk to my people and do something fun here in NYC. Dana, what say you?

Well, Dana replied:

“I’m in bro!!!”

Later on, Conrad also publicized his challenge through a video:

So fingers crossed let’s hope Conrad and White produce something interesting soon. Who knows, maybe White will learn to love soccer and become a world-renowned soccer promoter.

Ok, I was kidding there, nonetheless the challenge should be fun to watch. Perhaps White will bring some entertainment from the ring too.
