You probably didn't know this, but the IndyCar Series ran a non-points race in Australia last weekend. Because it didn't count and was buried on ESPN Classic at 11 pm on a Saturday, even I didn't watch it. That was a mistake, because a Danica meltdown can happen at any time. This video starts with a random accident. Note that while there was a tight squeeze in the turn, but cars could get through. Unless of course, you are Danica, who stalls her engine and immediately assumes she should get first dibs on getting refired again (for the impatient, start at the 1:20 mark).
Props to the announcing crew (who, of course, were on Australian TV) for slamming Danica for treating the safety crew that way. Not cool. What's cool for us is the sideshow that is Danica. She may not win again, but she'll continue to be #1 in the entertainment factor.
