There are many ways to guarantee that you get coal in your stocking for Christmas, and parking in a handicapped spot when you're not handicapped is clearly one way to do that. Bonus extra lump of coal if you happen to be a pro athlete who does it.

So that means today Darren Sharper of the Vikings should have a boatload of coal in his stocking, because the safety decided to park his luxury SUV in a handicapped spot last Sunday when he showed up for a local TV appearance.

Here's the proof, too:

Gossip columnist C.J. of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune was the person who happened to literally be in the parking lot when Sharper showed up and she even videotaped the whole incident. In fact, Sharper even openly admitted he had parked in the handicapped spot.

Before I noticed where the SUV was parked, Sharper made a joke to my video camera about having to "get my flexibility back" and said, "See how I'm walking?"

Man oh man, what a jackass. You're a professional athlete for God's sake. I don't care if you park in the handicapped spot for 30 seconds at 2am in the morning, you're still a jackass. And if Sharper was looking to find some way for me to root heavily against the Vikings to reach the playoffs, he just succeeded masterfully.

He, who is amazingly able-bodied, took advantage of a handicapped parking spot. Thats just morally reprehensible and extremely ignorant on his part. There's no need for anyone who doesn't need that spot to take, especially a professional athlete making millions of dollars. Although from what I hear, CJ is a bit of a joke as a journalist.
