Mandatory Credit: Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY SportsLeSean McCoy will be able to get a little more rest next season, since the Eagles have traded for versatile running back Darren Sproles from the Saints.

The Eagles sent the Saints a 5th round pick that they received from the Patriots in exchange for Isaac Sopoaga.

Sproles will allow the Eagles to lessen McCoy's workload, while also providing the Eagles with an exciting backup running back who can match McCoy's skill set better than most backups.

As exciting as the Eagles offense was last year, it might be even better next year with the addition of Sproles.

We'll see if the Eagles do something to improve their defense now.
