You may remember a few weeks ago that David Wright got drilled in the head by Matt Cain. Well, now that Wright's back, they've given him a helmet that should be able to withstand a charging rhino. Behold, Wright's hilarious new helmet.

Kind of reminds me of this guy below.

Yep, it's been that kind of year for the Mets.

Well it is too big, but it is safe, if Wright was wearing that when he got hit, he would've been hurt as much, plus, it's not THAT bad, is it? Why is everyone laughing at Wright? I think Dempster was the first one to wear it.

Dempster is a pitcher, who aside from Zambrano, is someone who usually stands there and stares, occasionally bunts. Wright was the first actual hitter to wear it.
