The Internet reacted perfectly to DeAndre Jordan's ridiculous dunk over Brandon Knight

This is nothing new for the Clippers, who are regulars in the "ridiculous alley oop" category.

The one guy you really feel bad for in this situation is Brandon Knight.

For some godforsaken reason, Knight decided to try to go up and block Jordan's dunk. There is no logical reason to justify this decision.

Brandon Knight is 6'3". DeAndre Jordan is 6'11".

DeAndre Jordan can jump out of the building. We've seen it time after time.

Brandon Knight had no business trying to block that dunk, and we clearly saw that in the aftermath, when Knight ended up on the floor and being called for a foul despite being absolutely posterized.

Despite what had to be an entirely unpleasant experience, Knight was pretty upbeat about it afterwards, joking that "it wasn't in the scouting report that the Clippers threw lobs."

Of course, their nickname is "Lob City," despite the Clippers' best efforts to shun the nickname.

The best part about this dunk may have actually been the Internet reaction to the dunk.

Wikipedia and Google almost immediately declared poor Brandon Knight dead after the dunk:

In case you missed it, here's the dunk itself:

Another highlight for me is at the 0:19 mark, where the camera pans to a few young kids going absolutely nuts in the crowd. And then when the announcer says "take a look at the Clippers bench," and the camera stays on the little kids.

Priceless.
