Pittenger-USA TODAY SportsAfter reportedly shopping him around for a couple weeks, the Philadelphia Eagles have made quite a drastic move and dropped wide receiver DeSean Jackson.

The Eagles had been having a plethora of issues with Jackson. From boneheaded plays on the field to troubling gang connections off the field, they finally decided that the risk outweighed the reward, and they'd rather be done with him altogether.

From a statement released by the Eagles:
"After careful consideration over this offseason, the Philadelphia Eagles have decided to part ways with DeSean Jackson. The team informed him of his release today."

There are definitely a lot of teams who could use a Pro Bowl WR like Jackson. However, thanks to the recent troubles with former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, a lot of teams might shy away from Jackson due to the concerns surrounding him off the field.

The move frees up about $6.5 million against the salary cap for the Eagles, with another $6.25 million of dead cap space, thanks to bonuses owed to him.

Where do you think DeSean Jackson will sign?
