Deanna Favre Takes Picture With Vikings Fans In 'Thanks Ted Thompson' Jersey
The Next Time Brett Favre Tries To Say He Doesn't Resent Ted Thompson, Don't Believe It
No matter how many times he says that he and his family have no hard feelings towards Ted Thompson, don't believe a word of it.

It's not that I blame them, even. Go ahead and be upset with the Packers. Be upset with Ted Thompson. It's not a big deal. But don't pretend you're not. No one likes a liar.

Proof of their disdain comes from this picture of Deanna Favre posing with a Vikings fan, who's wearing a customized Favre jersey, which reads "THANKSTED" on the back, as you can see.

Sure, she could have posed with the fan facing forward, and it would have just looked like he was wearing a normal Favre jersey. But instead, she took the picture like this. Innocuous? Perhaps. But she knows better. She knows the message that this sent.

Again, I don't blame them. But it's hard to overlook, at this point.

Further Proof that the Favres Hate Ted Thompson? [The Big Lead]

Yeah right! I can imagine the Farve family having a dummy of  GM Thompson in an effigy hanging over their front door.

Well, considering for the first time in his career he's started the season 5-0, things are looking pretty good.  Heck, they probably felt the same way when he got traded to the Packers from the Falcons.  It's a never ending sense of amusement for me how fans perspectives can change 180 degrees depending upon the situation.

If anything, this is the reason why the Packers tried to buy Brett Favre's retirement for 20 million after they forced him out.

What a true statement.. ThanksTED!!!! The Vikinkg appreciate their 5-0 record while Green Bay has their #1 QB in Aaron Rogers!!!  I'm sure glad you forced the #1 all time QB record holder to either take a back-up job to Aaron Rogers or to retire. Thanks to the Brett saga, the Vikes actually have a complete team and a hell of a lot better chance at the Super Bowl than the Fudge Packers, so as the Jersey says, THANKSTED!!!

Signed,
All Vikings Fans & Aaron Rogers

Did anyone doubt Favre's talent, nobody that I know of, the real issue was and still is for that matter, the on again off again, will he won't he of now 4, 4 off-seasons, if Favre had never retired or threatened to, then no matter what Thompson are anyone in the Green Bay front office thought he'd still be the QB there.  The fact is the team's progress and cohesion was being held hostage and all that happened was the team called Favre's bluff.  I back team vs player about 95% of the time but this was a case of a team that had been jerked around 1 too many times.  By the way they still have a top 10 QB who is still getting better.

Part of Favre's success is the team around him, there is no doubting that. It is foolish to believe he would be having this kind of success with the team that is in Green bay right now. He fell into the perfect situation. It doesnt have to be all about him. But if they key in on AP he can still make the throws to beat you. And if they drop back AP can run all day. And with that defence getting the Offence the ball back that many times. What QB wouldnt be having a great year in that situation. Though it is odd how some vikings fans seem like they are giving all the credit to Brett and not to anyone else on the team.

This is the kind of comment I will never understand. Why the sour grapes? Seriously, where is the logic here? Favre is certainly not the richest OR the most ungrateful person in the NFL, lol.

I don't understand why people don't pick their battles better. Why stress over Brett Favre? There's a guy on the Seahawks beating himself in the head with a helmet, NCAA players getting suspended for fighting, etc. etc. etc. why waste time whining about Brett Favre simply trying to do a job? sheesh.

Say what you will about Brett (and I have been one of his biggest critics) ..... but as far as Im concerned... With all Deanna has had to deal with and overcome in her life, she has earned the right to express her feelings however she so desires WITHOUT reprisal. Love ya Deanna! SHE is the REAL WINNER in the Favre family.
