It's not looking good for the Oregon Ducks tonight and it's happened in the most unfortunate way possible. Dennis Dixon, who may very well have been risking a lot by playing, tweaked his knee on a non contact play. It was the type of play that never looks bad but ultimately ends up a torn ACL. I don't want to speculate, but there were many tears on the sideline. A very unfortunate way for Dennis Dixon to bow out of the Heisman race and the way things are going, the Ducks are out of the National Title hunt.

I blame two people: Joey Harrington and the baby. Joey introduced the team (while the hotness that is Taryne Mowatt did Arizona) and bad things just happen when he's around. The Heisman baby because he made fun of Mike Hart missing two games ... and that's just bad karma. Dixon will now miss the final two regular season games. Just sayin'.

Let's hope the Ducks can comeback and make this a game. 14-31 at the half.

3	It'd be kind of fun seeing the country going crazy over the best defense in the nation playing in the title game. Yeah, it would be crazy to see LSU play in the national title game.

0	So Oregon is likely out. The Big 12 will knock out 2, if not all 3 teams from contention. Then its down to West Virginia and Ohio State. Who do you think would get the bid?

West Virginia has a couple tough games left. It's not completely out of the question that Ohio State makes it back in. Especially with the conference championship games.

I think that would put Big Ten hate across the nation at an all time high

Is there anything worse than an Erin Andrews report without seeing her?

OSU, nation's best defense? one of the best, but not the best. I would have a top ranked defense with a SOS schedule that is lacking in high quality wins and fight quality opponents. OSU got exposed by the Illini. Juice Williams threw 4 TD's and ran for 3-4 huge first downs on the last drive to seal the deal, including one third and ten. OSU knew it was coming and yet they couldn't stop him. By the way, I have become severely impressed with Juice, he really handled the pressure well.

LSU has to deal with the Ole Miss, Arkansas and then the SEC championship.
OU and Kansas if they win out will meet in the Big 12 championship game. The winner of that will make it to the BCS championship game without question. WV has to win out, but will be left out in the cold, but can complain if Oklahoma wins out. OSU has a legit shot at it, no doubt especially the way the season has gone this year.

I hope the last three weeks of the season are as wild as the first three weeks.
