Denver Nuggets Versus Cleveland Cavaliers; Detroit Pistons Versus Golden State Warriors Live Thread
Whenever LeBron's On TV There's Always Reason To Watch [NBA Live Thread]
READ MORE:
Two NBA games on tonight on TNT for everyone. Good news is we get to see LeBron, Chauncey Billups, and AI tonight.

Up first at 8pm LeBron and Co. welcome the suddenly the new Billups-led Denver Nuggets. Only problem is the Nuggets seem to have made commitment this season to ditch all their big men and are now fielding a pretty small squad.

Right now, 93% of FanIQ is taking the Cavs, who seem to be beginning to hit their stride.

In the second game, we'll have the chance to watch Allen Iverson as he continues to try to fit in with the Detroit Pistons. Iverson finally got his first win in a Pistons uniform against the Kings on Tuesday. Expect the game to at least be somewhat exciting, seeing as the Warriors will naturally try and turn the game into a track meet even though Al Harrington will be out and Corey Maggette is questionable.

89% of FanIQ is going with the Pistons to win this game, even though it's in Oakland.

Feel free to chat the games up here, or on each of the linked game pages.

A tad ironic, coming from an "NHL" fan.

I'll take the NBA, but high school basketball is really fun when its your friends and classmates out there playing.  College is even better because its much easier to get hammered and then go.

It's good stuff.  A lot more strategy I think.  It isn't just giving it to the star player, and letting him spin around a bunch before taking a wild shot and making it.

Plus, the refs don't suck as hard.  Fouls are pretty consistent, unlike the NBA, where the definition of a foul changes by possession and player.  THAT's why I hate the NBA.

Oh yeah, and traveling is still a call.

I won't watch any basketball that doesn't let a man take three steps before jumping.

You haven't seem high school basketball in Oklahoma then...

My senior year (2004), we are in the state semifinals and we are going up against our cross biggest rival. Their best player had signed to play at K-State and we shot 11 free throws the entire game and OT in comparison to him shooting 15 by himself. We lost the game and I am still a tad bitter that the refs from the other side of the state basically called the game like he was an all world player and we were all just scrubs.
