Derrick Rose leaves game with 'minor' hamstring injury
The good news is Rose and the Bulls are saying it's a minor hamstring strain. More good news is the Bulls are on their bye week and don't play again until Friday (NBA schedule makes ya scratch your head).
Rose expects to be okay in a couple days. Translation... He could miss anywhere from no games to 13 months.
Joking aside, there has to be some concern going forward. And not just this injury per se, but for his lower body being so susceptible to injury at such a young age.
Is there something in the water in Chicago? Bears' QB Jay Cutler can't stay healthy either and will miss Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Lets hope Rose's injury turns out to be as minor as everyone is saying. All it will take is him missing one game for people to say... 'here we go again.'
Prior to Rose leaving the game, he played phenomenal defense against budding star Kyrie Irving, holding him to just 5-19 shooting. The Bulls won an ugly game 96-81.
Bulls fans, now we wait. Just think if Rose misses time, there's a chance we get to see 20-year vet in the back court--Mike James!!!!
