Last night the Padres were trailing the Pirates 2-3 in the bottom of the 9th. Also staring a 2 game deficit against the Diamondbacks in the face. Former D-Back Scott Hairston made sure that didn't happen with a three-run walk off HR. His second such clutch hit since coming over from Arizona before the trade deadline.
Hairston now has 5 HR in 44 at-bats and a .364 average since the July 27th trade. Nothing worse than a former play coming back to haunt your team, something I'm all too familiar with.
