Dodgers Fan Dad Catches Ball While Holding Baby in the Other Hand

Happy Mother's Day! I Caught You A Baseball, But I Dropped the Baby

by CriticalFanatic CriticalFanatic | >7 days ago14 Comment Comments »

OK, don't worry, this guy actually did successfully hold onto the baby with one hand while catching the home run in his glove with the other.

Now that's a dedicated fan ... and an idiot. Simply taking a baby to Dodgers Stadium would classify as child abuse, so I'm not sure what you'd call this.

Hysterically, and I'm not sure if Vin Scully is that prescient, but during his home run call he noted "that baby is going up into the seats."

Just about, Vin, just about.

God bless Dodgers fans.

+5 thumbs up

Oh that's a baby, I thought it was a Jonathan Broxton bobble head.

Baby or no baby I have a huge issue with this. Is that baby permanently attached to you sir? If not then you can drop the kid and get that second hand up there. Parenting no matter good or bad is an excuse to break from fundamentals. Now go take a lap.

+3 thumbs upWhy in the name of all that is holy would you take a baby to Dodger Stadium?
#4 | 57 days ago

+2 thumbs upI wonder if he could do that two more times, and if he were given the opportunity to try at what point would the mother freak and take the baby away?

+4 thumbs upIf that is his wife sitting on the bleachers next to him, she didn't seem overly concerned.  Either she is really brave, or they have now found a way to make Brittney Spears look like a responsible parent.  I am thinking the latter.

+2 thumbs upOr they're just Dodgers fans. Which is the best explanation.

+1 thumbs upI wonder why Brittany Spears didn't use that as her defense for child custody?  "Judge, I am not a bad parent, I am just a Dodgers fan."  Judge, "Oh you are a Dodgers fan??  That explains everything, I won't take the babies from you the Dodgers are going to punish you enough."

Awesome, leave the guy alone. It is getting blown way out of proportion. Parents do hundreds of things while holding their baby in the other arm. This guy just happened to be caught on tape.

Rumor is that guy was signed by the Brewers so Gagne could cut back on his blown saves

Yeah, you are right.  Just the other day in fact, I was holding a baby while attempting to catch a bullet shot from a 45, in my teeth.  Glad they didn't have cameras that day...

Wow, you are comparing catching a baseball to catching a bullet. I meant every day stuff around the house.

And besides, whose dumb enough to try something like that with or without a kid in their hand!

Actually I understand in the 50s when that was made popular by Superman, a lot of kids died trying that.  I regress though, the whole thing was a joke.  In fact every comment I have made on this thread has been a joke.  NOW LAUGH DAMN IT!
