After 3 games in the MLB playoffs, the home teams are 3-0, mostly thanks to outstanding pitching and some very timely offense. The Phillies started the day with a dominant complete game gem from Cliff Lee, and then the Yankees pummeled the Twins 7-2 in their first game.In the late game, the Dodgers won 5-3, due largely to their bullpen, which went 5 1/3 innings, and a huge 2-run HR from Matt Kemp.
Tomorrow, the Rockies and Phillies start at 2:37, the Cardinals and Dodgers start at 6:07, and the Red Sox and Angels will play their game 1 at 9:37pm. All times are listed in Eastern Standard time.
After their respective wins, it looks like the Yankees, Dodgers and Phillies are set up pretty nicely in their series. Out of the Twins, Cardinals and Rockies, which team do you think has the best chance to turn it around and move on to their League Championship Series?

The Twins and Rockies were completely dominated in there respective Game 1's, while the Cardinals had all the chances in the world to steal Game 1 but couldnt get the big hit when they needed, something that happened frequently the last month of the season. They have the slight edge as the team that can turn it around, thanks in part to starting pitching that had 3 out of the top 5 pitchers in terms of wins and 3 out of the top 10 in terms of ERA. Even though Carpenter struggled, I would still take him, Wainwright and Pineiro over any 3 pitchers the Twins and Rockies could pitch
I think the pitching will, as usual, tell the tale I like the chances for NY, Dodgers and Phillies with the Cardinals having the best shot at getting a road tilt.

I think the Cards are going to get a road win, as will the Sox. Just putting that out there.
