(i) The player (A) is or will be at least 19 years of age during the calendar year in wich the Draft is held, and (B) [...] at least one (1) NBA Season has elapsed since the player's graduation from high school [...]Mainly, I just wanted to get that letter back from the NBA front office denying my attempt. Well, Zachary Feinstein not only went about the process, but he's currently included as an early entry candidate on several NBA Draft websites.
(ii) (F) The player has expressed his desire to be selected in the Draft in writing received by the NBA at least sixty (60) days prior to such Draft (an "Early Entry" player)
Here's his letter declaring intent:
Less than a month later, Zach received the official documents:
He filled out the necessary forms which include "basketball history," which is namely which high school and college you've attended. Apparently this was done successfully and the paperwork was processed because Mr. Feinstein is currently listed under "unknown players" at NBA Draft Express:
I don't know if that's the same Terrence Robertson that couldn't stay out of trouble at Fresno State, but that'd be hilarious if it was.
One quick look at Zachary Feinstein's profile/stats and its' not a stretch to think that Isiah Thomas would have reached for a late 2nd round pick on him:
I'd draft him just for his rebounding.
