The current 10 game winning streak is the team's longest since their championship season in 1975.  A win tonight would against Brooklyn would make the Warriors 7-0 on their road trip, marking the first such occurrence in NBA history that a team has gone unbeaten on a road trip of seven or more games and will match the longest winning streak in franchise history, set in 1972.  

Golden State currently sits 4th in the Western Conference at 24-13.  With a heavy home schedule leading up until the All-Star break (11 of 15 games), the Warriors have established themselves as not only a West contender, but one of the NBA's elite.
