Just when you thought the Dwightmare was over...Sam Amick of SI is reporting that the Los Angeles Lakers are in talks with the Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets to bring Dwight Howard to LA. The deal would go like this:
"The deal, which is not believed to be imminent, would reportedly send Howard and Nuggets forward Al Harrington to the Lakers, L.A. center Andrew Bynum to the Sixers and Lakers power forward Pau Gasol and Nuggets shooting guard Arron Afflalo to the Magic, who would get salary cap relief and draft picks. Magic shooting guard guard Jason Richardson would also likely be part of the deal."
Adrien Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports also added that Andre Iguodala would go to Denver, but makes no mention of Richardson.
The Lakers would come out big winners with this deal. They'd not only get Howard, but they would replace Matt Barnes with Harrington who doubled Barnes's average points per game. He's much older than Barnes, but his production is higher.
It is being reported that this deal has become imminent, so wait to hear on more details.

Now that the deal is reportedly official, I'm glad to see that Pau Gasol wasn't moved. He's still a great player to have on your team despite his flaws.
