It seems like this could be an ongoing thing all season, though hopefully it is not.
Dwight Howard headed back to Los Angeles, after hurting his shoulder against the Phoenix Suns to get platelet rich plasma treatments.
The labryum in his shoulder was reaggravated, but it doesn't seem like further damage had been done.
The treatment must have gone as planned because Kevin Ding tweeted that Howard was seen getting on a a plane in LA that was Detroit-bound, for the Lakers Sunday game.
Currently, the Lakers are on a long road trip, which is crucial to helping determine if they'll be able to make the playoffs or not. It also seems like the recent drama surrounding him has passed, and he can certainly help this team out, especially on defense where they are lacking.
He definitely isn't the player he was in seasons past, but it's important to remember that this injury will heal completely over the off-season, just not this one. This will no doubt be taken into consideration when they look at any trades involving him, if that's even the case at all.
