Hoosiers freshman Eli Holman planned to have a cordial meeting with the new coaching staff to discuss his interest in transferring.

It went about as well as Indiana's basketball season. Tom Crean had to call the police.

"His behavior took me, along with the other people in the office, by surprise,'' Crean said in a university release. "We saw him as a danger to himself and wanted to take precautionary measures to help him.''

I'm not entirely sure what events took place, but there's a plant in the IU coaching offices that is no longer potted.

It should be noted that Crean doesn't expect Holman to remain with the program. Shocking, I know.
