Eli Manning Rookie Card Set Selling For $8 Million On eBay
Got An Extra $8 Million Available? Then These Eli Manning Rookie Cards Are For You.
Since the current US economy is doing so well, I see no way that this idea can possibly fail. Someone who's been spending a bit too much time collecting Eli Manning rookie cards has a proposition for you. How about 136 Eli Manning rookie cards with his autograph on them for the low, low price of......$8 million.

Now, I know exactly what you're thinking. That seems a bit high for a set of cards that are collectively probably worth only about $50,000 (if that). Ah, but here's what boosts the price up friends:

Except for scanning, the cards have not been exposed to light, excessive handling, or a smoking environment.

All are currently in safe deposit boxes
.

That's pretty good, but I need something more to make me part with my remaining $7,980,000. Perhaps the cards could give me a massage, or at least take me dinner. So what else you got?

Should I get an irresistable offer on the collection, I will also give the buyer the following items for sale.

2004 NFL Draft Class Autographed Football Eli Manning
2004 NFL Draft Class RC Autos Eli Manning Philip Rivers

A few more autographs? Well that's all I needed to hear, now where's my wallet?

Honestly, I'm not sure what the hell this guy is thinking. I don't care if these cards wipe my own ass for me, I'm not paying $8 million for a stash of autographed rookie cards of a guy that won't even be going to the Hall of Fame. And no one else will be either. Or at least I sure hope not.

For a QB with 10 Super Bowl Rings, 8 Super Bowl MVP Awards, 8 Regular Season MVP awards, 158.3 career passer rating and average yearly totals of 7,000 yds passing and 85 TDs.....We'd still probably only pay $5,000,000 for the whole set!

These cards don't look like they've even been graded.  Take it from someone who just wanted to unload a handful of Shaquille O'Neal rare-print rookies.  If the cards aren't graded nowadays, they don't sell.

Oh I see now, SOME of these are graded.  A lot of these are #1 in a numbered print run, which is impressive, but not even in the area code of $8 million.  No chance.

You know what's hilarious? I was talking to 100%InjuryRate via instant messenger a few minutes ago, and I said this:

Patrick: i'm about to retract my ebay offer
Patrick: that pile of s*** isn't worth $1 anymore
Patrick: 27 cents

You read my freaking mind.

The cards of Peyton Manning wouldn't be worth it..may as well be Cooper Manning's cards.
