Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Eric Byrnes just missed out on making the National League All-Star team. So it's only fitting that he would be a guest broadcaster for the event, but just miss out on being allowed inside.
Instead, he will be out on McCovey Cove in a kayak, along with his dog, talking to the locals and presumably chasing after home run balls. If his antics in a kayak are anything like his antics on the field, a good time will be had by all.
I'm setting the odds on him jumping, falling, or being pushed into the water at 5/4.
