Rays 3B Evan Longoria hit 3 home runs against the Twins on Thursday night, but it wasn't enough, as the Twins still managed to win 11-8, after they scored 5 runs in the 9th for the comeback victory.Alexi Casilla tied the game with a 2-run HR with no outs in the 9th. After that, 5 straight Twins batters reached base safely, followed by an RBI sacrifice fly by shortstop Matt Tolbert. By the time the Rays recorded the first out of the inning, the Twins had already scored 5 runs, and turned a 2-run deficit into the 3-run lead that they would maintain through the bottom of the inning.
Joe Mauer had 3 hits, 2 runs and 3 RBI for the Twins, and Jason Kubel also drove in 3. The Twins' offense overcame 5 HR by the Rays for the win.
