Florida Atlantic isn't known for its football, combining for a 58-74 (.439 winning percentage) record since creating the program in 2001—and that probably won't change in 2013.

The good news for Owls fans is that the players will be looking good while they're getting pummeled by East Carolina, Middle Tennessee, Marshall and other Conference USA opponents.

FAU has leaked some photos of a unique helmet it will be using this upcoming season. It has used white helmets since the program began, and now has shifted to a blue look with an owl on one side and the number on the other.
