I know the Patriots would like their 38-14 win over San Diego to end the PatriotGate discussions, but that's not going to be the case.
Somehow Jay Glazer of FOX NFL Sunday (HT: Pro Football Talk) got his hands on the actual video footage of the Patriots recording the Jets defensive signals. The video shows the recorder panning back and forth between down and distance and the Jets defensive signals. It's easy to see how this could benefit the Patriots down the road.
What's clear is that this is just the start of the investigation. If you listened to Roger Goodell last night on the NBC pre-game show, he made it evident that this just started. Goodell is demanding more video is handed over to him, in addition to investigating reports of the Patriots defensive line being wired to record pre-snap communication.
Enjoy the win Pats fans, it looks pretty on the field right now but likely to get uglier off.
Hey, Belichick may get suspended but he will have more respect around the league then Eric Mangina will. Jeff Fisher is on Belichick's side saying "EVERYONE in the league does it, and Eric Mangina squeeled"
Mangina you gained a lot of my respect last year for what you did on the field, now you a piece of **** who isn't worth anything.

I would think that most teams would change up their signals from game to game. I think this is more of a tool for scouting than anything. Don't get me wrong they should not of been doing this, it was against the rules. But the media is blowing this way out of proportion and just jumping on the proverbial "Hating the Pats" bandwagon. Belichick is not well like by the media because of what little he indulges to them. And how did Jay Glazier get a hold of that tape? Mangina must of made copies!
