Carlo Ancelotti appears to be destined for the Real Madrid job. Rumors suggest Paris Saint-Germain plan on replacing the Italian boss with the former England coach Fabio Capello. Meanwhile, Real Madrid are yet to make an official announcement regarding the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti. An announcement from the Spanish football giants is expected before the end of this week.

Reports suggest Fabio Capello is the top candidate to become the new manager of Paris Saint-Germain. The notorious Juventus coach is currently managing the Russian national team following his four-year stint as the Three Lions boss.

Fabio Capello’s arrival at Parc des Princes would allow the former AC Milan manager Carlo Ancelotti to finally move towards Santiago Bernabeu. Carlo Ancelotti, who handed in a transfer request for the opportunity of joining Real Madrid, was refused a transfer move by Paris Saint-Germain.

The French club hoped of convincing Carlo Ancelotti of extending his stay at Real Madrid, but their attempts proved to be futile. Paris Saint-Germain have now resorted to getting the best deal out of Carlo Ancelotti’s move to Real Madrid.

Real Madrid will have to pay Paris Saint-Germain special transfer fees since Carlo Ancelotti had a year-long standing contract with the French outfit. No news from any club has arrived on this matter yet.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas was also in contention for the Paris Saint-Germain job. The young Portuguese tactician or his club didn’t comment on the situation, but it appears as if Andre Villas-Boas was interested in the offer.

The former Chelsea manager is having splendid spell at Tottenham Hotspur, although he missed out on the Champions League once again. A move to Paris Saint-Germain not only ensures Andre Villas-Boas Champions League action, but it also guarantees him with an opportunity to contend for the title, since he would possess and extremely talented squad.

Rife rumors suggest Fabio Capello’s spell at Paris Saint-Germain will be short-lived, since the club is still in pursuit of the Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. The Emirates boss could opt to leave Arsenal next season since he hasn’t signed a contract extension yet.
